Leigh Steinberg is an American sports agent, philanthropist, and author. During his 50 year career, Steinberg has represented over 300 hundred professional athletes in football, baseball, basketball, boxing, and Olympic sports. Steinberg is often credited as the real-life inspiration for the sports agent in Cameron Crowe’s film Jerry Maguire.
Sweet Thursday will discuss The Comeback with Leigh Steinberg on Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 PM at the Lafayette Library. Doors will open at 6:30 PM for guests to enjoy coffee and sweets. Books will be available for purchase. This program is offered by Friends of the Lafayette Library.
