Overview
Join legendary performer and cultural icon Rita Moreno for an intimate evening of conversation reflecting on her extraordinary life and career. In discussion with her daughter, Fernanda Gordon Fisher, Moreno will share stories spanning her groundbreaking achievements across film, television, and theater—including her rare EGOT status and her enduring impact as a trailblazer in the entertainment industry.
The conversation will be moderated by Jan Yanehiro and will explore Moreno’s journey from her early beginnings as a dancer and teenage Broadway performer to her Academy Award–winning role as Anita in West Side Story, as well as the many honors she has received throughout her career. Fernanda Gordon Fisher—herself a dancer, actress, and artist—joins her on stage to offer a personal and creative perspective, drawing on their shared experiences performing together and her own work in film and design.
