Bay Area Storytelling Festival 2026

The Bay Area Storytelling Festival 2026 returns on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Orinda Community Center in the East Bay hills of California, continuing the tradition of one of the state’s longest-running storytelling festivals.

The festival features a full-day program celebrating the art of storytelling with performances and workshops led by nationally and internationally recognized tellers. Featured storytellers include Andy Offutt Irwin, Motoko, and Jasmin Cardenas, offering stories drawn from diverse backgrounds and traditions.

Attendees can expect story concerts, a workshop, a SAC Showcase, and an Open Mic component for those who want the chance to tell a story themselves. The event is planned as both in-person and virtual, with limited in-person tickets available.
