Flower Power Workshop

Every time I wear my flower power crown at my events, every single person who visits my booth marvels at the construction and how it was made. People want to buy my flower crown off my head! Finally, I have designed a workshop where you can make your own flower crown with Italian crepe paper. So who’s ready to craft a giant flower crown and eat delicious tacos?!?!? Here are the fun details: • WHERE: El Talpense Mexican Restaurant, 3576 MOUNT DIABLO BLVD. LAFAYETTE, CA • WHEN: Sunday, Nov. 8th, from 2 to 5 pm. • COST: $49. This includes the craft only. Food and drinks are not included in the ticket price, but will be available for purchase. • WHAT TO BRING: An open mind to try something new! • EXTRA: With a paid ticket you get a mini swag bag full of Designing Chica goodies! • AGES: This is a family-friendly event, but children should be at least 16 years old to participate. (We will be working with glue guns.) • PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: The Lafayette BART station is a 3-5 minute walk to the restaurant. • PARKING: There is metered parking on the streets. There will be a vintage market happening at the same time so parking might be a little difficult. It will be a fun day.
