About This Event
Step out of the holiday rush for an evening built around candlelight, stillness, and intention. Guides Shannon Hopkins and Erica Skone-Rees host a Winter Solstice Ceremony at Orinda’s Woodhall, honoring the longest night of the year with grounding meditation, a shamanic drumming journey, crystal bowl sound healing, candle lighting, and time for shared reflection.
The evening draws on the theme of returning light that runs through many traditions this time of year, from Hanukkah to Christmas to the Festival of Lights. Newcomers are welcome, and you don’t need any experience with meditation or ritual.
Bring: Journal and pen, blanket or yoga mat, comfy layers, water and a snack, and a small altar item to “charge” with the evening’s energy
Note: Please arrive scent-free
